We had a team meeting the other day in Cambridge and we used a number of different rooms. During the course of our meetings I was able to overhear some of the advice conversations given by the other consultants, and I realised, very forcibly, how the thing that divides us from other consultancies is that many of our employment relations experts are also trained coaches - the advice sits between employment law and therapy, bringing together the soft and hard sides of HR, and I realised how much more was being received by the client as a result of this approach.
